Description: 5'8" and muscular, this northern man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His white hair is still thick. His face is scarred and worn.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. The war was a terrible time for him, and Sapply does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Sapply reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
