History: Oloric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
