When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raiann hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Raiann was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
