Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
