Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Qualen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east to a Performer, Theodoric learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.
