He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Vondal took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. He bought a trident and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Quelenna and her spouse have recently divorced.

In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
