Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Lavinia has worked very hard to control her curse. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
