History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Grai took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor she uses now. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
