Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Hupe lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hupe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter.
