History: Bryseis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bryseis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Vonbin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Aline lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town.
