Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born in the north to a Locksmith, Philomena learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She tends to her Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
