Description: This late middle aged man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body and is in decent physical shape. His green crest is lengthy. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A true patriot, Donaar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Donaar was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by his family

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Description: This man wears skinny pants and wears a white and violet robe with the hood down. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thorpe is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Thorpe lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times, and is pretty ugly. She has a very tight haircut. Her violet eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker blue hat.
Personality: Meriele speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Meriele alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sailor but believes her peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born in the south to a Sailor, Malquis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sailor, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and an old rival family wants her found
