History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge.
