Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Umpen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. The war was a terrible time for him, and Umpen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Umpen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
