Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. Her black fur is singed and shortened. Her eyes are a pleasant yellow.
Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Silent grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Silent. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Silent fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Glim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Laborer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her brown robe. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. This gold eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Wella was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Tarhun was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Tarhun was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tarhun's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
