History: She was born in a small plains village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Art took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has styled his scarlet crest well, parting it to the right. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: Kite was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
