When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
