Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. A true patriot, Portia would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Portia took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. She tends to her Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She bought a greataxe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is a Beggar first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but she was a colossal failure. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. A friendly and beautiful Half-Elf, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has achieved small success as a Carter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Mhurren abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
