History: She comes from a rich northern family. Mella was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Sage. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is a pot bellied southern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a brown feathered hat and brown clothes. Her hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. Her eyes are a pleasant hazel.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Falkrunn was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fancy black suit. His hair is purple and curly. His skin is flawless and his silver eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mantus took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

History: She got into the Apothecary business at a young age. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.
Motivation: To be a Miner again; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: She wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. She is portly but not overly obese. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are gold and catlike.
Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shax is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Shax reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

History: Pearl lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Pearl took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She carries with her a set of nunchakus, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Syllin was born with her mother's beautiful face. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Syllin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
