History: Gennal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vicky grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vicky. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
