History: Heian was born with his mother's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Sellsword. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Ilanis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: Standing 6'8", this man is dressed in an above average manner. His long dark red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Nim liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many dire rats want him driven away

She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
