History: Born in the west to a Fortune-teller, Mastema learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
