Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Artin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Galinndan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Galinndan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Knight profession.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Stableman and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a knight again

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Delg was born with his father's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: This western woman is abnormally tall. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her crest, while still mostly brass, has prominent grey streaks. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady red eyes.

Personality: Megren hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and wants to open a new tavern
