His mother taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Diggory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's also a talented Shoemaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.
