History: Born in the north to a Detective, Fragrant learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: She was born into a rich family. A gifted student she started as a Crown-heir, but she got bored and became a Miner. She's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
