History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Clerebold was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Clerebold's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After months of barely getting by, Keyleth managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Theren isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Kody was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a Architect soon after.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
