Description: This younger middle-aged woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and a wedding ring on her left hand. She has wavy black hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Vani took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Vani never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are brown.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 88. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: Pennie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pennie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Andraste grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
