Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

History: Gilthur hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Fragrant was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
