History: Born to a Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Shump began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
