Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears bulky red painted plate armor. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thorpe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Thorpe was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Thorpe's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Hillanot liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Hillanot and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Alberich hails from a village terrorized by drow. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Alberich's homeland. Alberich decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and regain custody of her son
