History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Huru grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Huru. Being a Mayor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Quick hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
