History: Portia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Halfling Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

History: Helgret was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Helgret was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Helgret decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.
