History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. He has moderate length scarlet crest. His gold eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Shamash enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamash grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. Her bronze crest is smooth and relatively long. Her red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mijira was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has worked as a Marshal like his father before him.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: An older man who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Gifted from a young age, Sweet studied abroad. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Sweet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of orcs

Description: He wears dull yellow sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed flail, just in case. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his flail, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Architect but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Korfel took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has decided he is irredeemable
