History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Tod reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Bather kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Robert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Donella was taken on many hunting expeditions. Donella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eridred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eridred. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
