Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Born to a Knight, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Malquis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants to get laid

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was raised in a island tribe. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, she wears a fancy brown dress. Her golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Diesa is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Baern will drive conversation. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Baern took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Havilar does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Havilar was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Havilar and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Moon grew up listening to her father's many stories. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Detective, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Edge's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Edge enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Edge and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
