History: He got into the Sellsword business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Gardener kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. She struck the Marshal job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Loopmottin's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Loopmottin grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When Loopmottin reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
