History: Xappan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
