Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He takes great joy in being the best Actor in town.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Actor for the past few years.
Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: She prefers to wear flannel. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly pickaxes and greatswords. Her long chestnut hair reaches down to her waist. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Hlin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Being a Mason kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has never given up on his singing dream.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His red unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Zepar hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Zepar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and he wants revenge against drow

History: Dagnal hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joser fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a mortician again

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
