History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is a great chef.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Meena isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and regain custody of her daughter
