Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Ahvain was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Dilettante; and obtaining odd cultural tabaxi artifacts is his passion

This search led him directly into Baker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Baker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has never given up on her singing dream.
