Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Seamstress born in the past three hundred years. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Thiala hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Thiala was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Server, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Susannah was born with her father's beautiful face. Through the years after Susannah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Susannah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Susannah and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the west to a Jeweler, Paelias learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
