Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Shoemaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is mildly Gnome supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ellywick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After months of barely getting by, Silaqui managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: Erdan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. A true patriot, Erdan would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a great chef.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Silaqui was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Silaqui's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Silaqui and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Erky has worked very hard to control his curse. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
