History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hatae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hatae. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
