History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Murook does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Through the years after Murook was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Murook's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Senteq was taken on many hunting expeditions. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Aym lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
