History: Nirgel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Hunter.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.
History: She was born into a rich family. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Sarai took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Merihim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
