Personality: Pelt hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pelt is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the west to a Performer, Eberk learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Healer, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Healer business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Healer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Wobbles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Agatha fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
