History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Priest father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
