Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Aelar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
