History: Claira was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Serpent lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in lance use. After a long history of fighting, Serpent and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Erdan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
