History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She has never given up on her singing dream.

History: Ronwe lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Shoemaker profession.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has worked as a Butcher like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
